Vaneeza ties the knot

Top fashion model Vaneeza Ahmad got married with her friend Ali Afzal in a private ceremony in Lahore. The nikkah ceremony was held in a mosque in Defence on July 27th.
Vaneeza’s bridal dress was designed by Umer Saeed while her make up was done by Athar Shehzad. The valima function was held at Race course club, while only close friends and family members were invited to the wedding.
The model now plans to settle down in Islamabad, Her Husband Ali Afzal lives in the U.S.

Bio Natural Black Shine Carnival De Couture

After a hiatus of two years, the premier charity fashion gala of the sub-continent Carnival De Couture took place in Lahore on the 30th of April 2010. The Teachers Resource Centre (TRC) and J&S proudly presented “Bio Natural Black Shine Carnival De Couture”. The show comprises three prominent Indo-Pak designers Tarun Tahiliani, Malini Ramani and Umar Sayeed. The show was choreographed and produced by The House of HSY and their co-ordination was also joined by Ms. Lubna Adam from Mumbai. The Hair and Makeup of the models on the ramp was taken over by Tariq Amin’s team of stylists. All the top models from the Pakistan fashion industry walked on ramp along with top models of the India and Dubai.

2. Shaan sets the runway on fire. Shaan's entry on the catwalk showed just how potent celebrity can be on the runway.

3. The drop dead gorgeous Cybil got the Model of the Evening award from the jewellery brand Solitaire.
